long term career success
As Europe slowly emerges out of recession, we are finding that many high achieving professionals are increasingly asking themselves these questions:
- The recession has created even more demand on my time. How can I avoid losing my sense of vitality under this kind of pressure?
- Is it possible to realise my highest ambitions and retain a sense of balance and perspective?
- How can I achieve greater connection between my work and what gives me meaning and purpose?
- What will it take for me to sustain my rise in this organisation, without losing touch with the ideals that brought me into this career?
This one day, introductory workshop to sustainable leadership is based on our extensive research into the practices that provide balance, perspective and wisdom. It helps you explore the degree to which you are managing your career sustainably and develop practices that enhance your performance and vitality. And we uncover the personal and professional dangers of inadequately sustaining yourself in the high pressured environments of recession embattled organisations.
Using a combination of action learning, self assessment exercises, workshop sessions, and group work, we help you:
- Assess how sustainable you are currently
- Learn about and understand the practices to sustain career success and vitality
- Learn how to apply these practices and make step change improvements in performance
- Mitigate those practices that lead towards less sustainable approaches to work
- Understand the lessons that can be learned from dealing with tough times, and how to use these lessons to transform yourself
We are particularly concerned with ensuring you are able to apply the learning to your own work context and situation. In this regard, past participants have found it useful to have executive coaching as a follow up to the workshop.
